Typewriter vs Laptop
How many people use their Laptop word processing software to produce important documents instead of using an old typewriter?
Re: Typewriter vs Laptop
I never really seen a typewriter before, do they still make them?

I don't know. That's a good question. I have seen them for sale in flee markets.
Re: Typewriter vs Laptop
I have a type writer; I use it for essays and small reports. I prefer the laptop overall though.

:0 I think using a typewriter would be awesome! I mean sure, it might get a little annoying with all the clacking and whatnot. But it'd be really interesting.

Re: Typewriter vs Laptop
I used the typewriter while I was in secondary, giving a report printed instead of typed or hand written seemed very 'posh' at the time, hahah.
Anyway, yeah I had my memories using one and being fascinated by the dual ink roll 'technology'. Good times indeed.
When I read the title, I thought it was a joke, as I see hard someone would rather them over a computer. You make a mistake here: no problem, press CTRL 'Z' and is all solved. Try adding images and correcting the mistakes with it. It all left marks and you had to leave the space to manually glue some diagram, newspaper image or whatever that was asked for that homework.
Laptops/desktop... I prefer any computer over a typewriter.
