I think Tariq Aziz is being punished for rubber stamping Saddam's action in governing his country.

That's really bad.

That's terrible; death should never be purposely given to someone. There are many other options besides it ie. life in prision, which would be more ethical.

I have no comment on this particular case, but I agree with LP101 that death is never the solution, because they're just making him go away the easy way instead of letting him "suffer" in prison.

Unfortually I am in Australia so I wouldn't have read about this but it does seem interesting.

Death by Hanging up still happening saddens me a lot. I don't know what he did, but I don't like the idea of such a painful way to depart. It also seems to me an exaggeration for the charge.
