MP3s are lower quality, but they're much easier to use because you can listen to them on more devices than just something with a CD drive.

I remember when you could burn mp3 tracks into cds. I liked so much those disk players, but they all gave me the skip problem, or the "NO DISC" one, which is something I haven't got with MP3 players.
It is not really that noticeable the loss of quality unless you really record them low quality. They still sound pretty good.
I rather disk players, because it was easier to me at the time. Now I like MP3 more because it is more discrete can still archive different files if you can get that MP3 that serves as a USB memory, and have huge capabilities, though I usually set with 200+ songs at most.
